We build statues out of snow, and weep to see them melt. Walter Scott
It's stone cold simple.
Rectangles.
Granite, marble, bronze. etc.
Transparent, for the color sensitive.
Honor no one.
Yet honor everyone.
Offend none.
They won't melt.
So, no need to weep, you see.
Congress, make it a statue statute.
Stones required.

Is that the most you can say as a former military leader at a time like this?
Even the Joint Staff Generals could make a more bold statement.
It's not about statues.
Obviously, Anonymous is not thoughtful enough to grasp sarcasm. Nor, in reality, truth. If it's not (partly) about the statues then why not put their fate up for public decision - through our republic's due process? It's called voting. The Joint Chiefs? Moot.
