The Marine Corps lost battle.
Christmas week, not Santa but a panel of judges rendered decision: Sikhs (male) undergoing Marine Corps recruit training may keep hair and beard.
What a present!
Though no surprise as outcome predicted in commentary published 24 days ago.
Logical.
No emotion. No deference to Corps history, culture, tradition, and shallow 'shared identity' argument.
Common 'if this then that' sense.
Logical.
Bottom line: When female can be made Marine while preserving hair, there's not logical reason, despite many practical, to shave head.
Elementary.
Now, one cannot help but wonder why anyone desiring to become a U. S. Marine, well knowing long-standing custom of stripping male physical identity, would ever expect, much less formally demand, for any reason, the Marine Corps accommodate them?
Might those young men be mere tool of the left (to continue ripping apart the most feared fighting force on Earth these past 247 years)?
Logical.
Consequences forthcoming.
Forthcoming, too, lawsuits from males.
And rightfully so.
Easy case and decision, with precedent.
Logical.
The changing face, and heads, of the Marine Corps.
Yes, Marines, there is a Santa Claus - she wears black robes.

Is there one attorney, who has a credible argument to counter this decision, let him speak now. The Marine Corps is dead. Our leaders have rolled over.

Dead, indeed. What the courts can't/haven't done, the current CMC will/is. As noted previously in a comic strip, "We have met the enemy, and he is us!"
