LADIES, IT'S YOUR FAULT

LADIES, IT'S YOUR FAULT

I don't know what kind of courage it took thousands of years ago, but I know how courageous women need to be today.  - Beth Moore

Early this morning scrolling news on X the matter of women's Olympic boxing dominated my feed.

Popular talking heads, mostly women, blame the IOC (International Olympic Committee) that two men will medal in women's boxing.

Yes, you read that right - men are dominating women's boxing.

The matter consumed my morning walk.

Conclusions ...

The IOC is not to blame.

Nor is the IOC at fault.

Leadership is not a committee sport.

In fact, a committee is the antithesis of leadership.

A committee suppresses courage.

By entering the ring a woman is agreeing to accept the punishment and consequences of fighting a man.

No, it's not a fair fight.

It'll never be a fair fight.

How do women get back to boxing women?

Bigger picture, how do women get back to competing against women?

Simple.

Ladies ...

Until uniting, sport moot, and absolutely refusing to play against men, then you are to blame, it's your fault.

Agreeing to partake is enabling, exasperating, and escalating.

Quit whining.

Winners find the courage to do what is right; regardless how personally painful.

Sacrifice for your granddaughters, set the Gold standard for the IOC.

And people wonder why women stay in abusive relationships.

ABSOLUTELY!!!! Women who step into a boxing ring thinking they can beat a man; deserve everything they get (and more). And you have no right at all to complain. Stand up for what's right gals or shut up!
