Never mind your happiness; do your duty. - Will Durant
For being busy with the most demanding duties of my life, there's not much time for the keyboard.
So, I've started capturing thoughts in "snapshots."
Let's begin with sports ...
Saturday and Sunday I watched the Ryder Cup; as whenever possible, I watch the best do what they do; I don't care what it is.
Team United States, led by Steve Stricker (Ryder Cup veteran), was built of twelve of the best golfers in the world. The best! And the young guns proved it. They crushed their European opponents 19-9 (with never before achieved numbers and it could have been worse).
As I watched these serious and focused men battle, fields of war came to mind.
Would America have stood a chance on the Wisconsin course paralleling Lake Michigan had Mr. Stricker built his team on our Department of Defense's DEI (Diversity Equity Inclusion) model?
Not a chance. It'd have been a massacre.
That ought settle the direction of national defense.
Now for "snapshots" recorded (and not that any are revelations, necessarily, but the words solely mine) - beginning with four days ago to this afternoon ...
1. The people mandating, working to strip you of freedoms have no intention of complying with their mandates nor relinquishing any of their freedoms.
2. America's Founding Fathers understood hope is not a course of action. [But they did pray while acting.]
3. There was a day ... George Washington, John Adams, Thomas Jefferson, et al., were peons.
4. The Constitution clear ... The citizenry may replace government - by peace or by violence.
5. Courage is also spelled ... a c t i o n.
6. Americans are Constitutionally required to replace - peacefully or violently - failed government.
7. The flashmob - a technology enabled gathering to create as well as remedy.
8. Duty - Easier sworn to than carried out; as we bear witness today.
9. Quit blaming Biden and Harris. The Constitution grants the citizenry peaceful and violent means to replace them. Get busy!
10. To support and defend the Constitution requires disobeying the President (too sworn to Constitution). The operative word and action? Courage.
11. Nature, naturally. Man's nature anti-Nature, naturally.
12. For the Constitution's endurance ... "Obey" is not in the military officer oath of office, nor is "obedience" a leadership trait. [And "obey" is not in an elected officials oath of office, either.]
13. ON BULLSHIT by Harry G. Frankfurt (pick up a copy).
14. Domestic enemies resort to bullying, force, threats, and punishment when without data, facts, logic, and compelling argument.
15. The schematic from George Washington to Joe Biden? Nevermind.
16. Words ... without ethics, integrity, morals, principles, and courage ... are just words.
17. To validate truth ... block, cancel, delete, dismiss, edit, ignore, scream, smother, suppress, quantify, etc.
18. On Duty Oath Takers ... As freedom of speech, et al., is under attack by government, media, et al., does that not, per oath to Constitution, identify domestic enemies?
19. With history as proof ... If you think the death toll from Covid is high, just wait until you see the death toll from real pandemics - cowardice and obedience.
Because repeat merited ...
20. America's Ryder Cup Team crushed Europe: 19-9 Had our superior team been built on DoD's model of mediocrity - Diversity, Equity, Inclusion ... crushing defeat.
21. CHAMPIONS win with grace never apologizing for victory. [Same for victorious warriors.]
22. OPINION however absurd is ... Freedom of Speech.
23. Hemingway six-words short story ... "Coward. Noun. One afraid to counterpunch."
24. Misread patience as weakness, at your peril.
25. On Cowards ... A coward knows self to be a coward. And a coward knows other know they're a coward. America's Founding Fathers were not cowards.
26. Flatten the Curve ... Failed Covid management protocol but adapted by Planned Parenthood.
27. Lying is easy. Truth is difficult --> data, facts, logic, understandable presentation of argument, and patience required. [At some point, there is no point attempting to defeat lies with truth. Just draw sword!]
28. PATRIOT Be one or pack your trash and quietly exit.
Last week rolling county roads a midday radio news report mentioned 30 deaths in our state of 10.5 million the day prior attributed to Covid. Thirty. There was not comment on how many vaccinated. Nor was there comment on each's overall health and fitness. So I researched North Carolina vital statistics and focused on the Top Ten causes of death in our state. Number 1: Heart Disease And well more than 50 North Carolinians die every single day from heart disease; and that has been ongoing for years and years. Fifty. Every single day. Is there vaccination? No. Is there restrictions put on diets? No. Is there mandatory exercise programs and fitness testing? No. And so go the questions. And there was not mention of that 50+ every day during the report. No need to bore you with the other nine causes, point made.
With rough math the number of daily deaths in North Carolina is three hundred give or take. Thirty deaths "attributed to" covid? One day during waning pandemic? Noted. Moving on.
And that leads to this morning's reply to a longtime pal on the topic of vaccines ...
