THE KILL CHAIN KINKS

THE KILL CHAIN KINKS

There are only two things we should fight for. One is defense of our homes and the other is the Bill of Rights. - Smedley Butler

To the point ...

The kill chain - defeat the enemy (first).

Christian Brose's 12 chapter book - 'The Kill Chain - Defending America in the Future of High-Tech Warfare' - is conspicuously missing Chapter 13: Too Cozy with the Enemy. [Book release April 2020 moot. He worked in the Senate a decade (for Senator John McCain).]

China (primarily) and Russia the adversaries most concerning to the United States. Yes.

China is ahead - technology and weaponry. Kink.

'America first' (all hands moving in the same direction) is the core requirement to achieve superiority. Kink.

President Biden (and family) and China. Kink.

Department of Defense. Kink.

As to simplicity, the importance and bang for the buck of the bayonet stud (if such a complicated device, for bureaucracy, could even be fielded today) not fully explored. Kink.

Q: How can the United States possibly squelch the threat from China (Russia, et al.)? That is, rule 'The Kill Chain'?

A: Bombard them (all) with our (form of) government and culture.

Oh, two saved rounds ...

1. To understand the current Commandant of the Marine Corps war fighting direction, read the book;

2. Mr. Brose has not read Smedley Butler's gem, 'War is a Racket' (at least there's not direct reference nor subtle hint).
