Chumps prefer a beautiful lie to an ugly truth. Iceberg Slim
This morning on Twitter was tweet from Mike Huckabee (former Governor, Arkansas) that Jussie Smollett ("brain trust" behind the fake "racist attack" on himself) made many a political and Hollywood type look like chumps.
Wrong, Governor!
No one can make another look (like) a chump. Through thought followed by word and deed one presents self as chump or champ.
Those who spoke and acted before taking a deep breath, using common sense, and thinking reaffirmed selves as chumps. For them, no hope. A chump is a chump. For the citizenry tragedy - too many chumps in Congress.
Speaking of champs, tennis great Martina Navratilova recently spoke out about the unfairness of transgenders (male to female) competing against women. Women don't have a chance. It's cheating, she opined.
Well, Mzz Navratilova, feminists wanted "equality" and now own it. Careful what you ask for. Chumps. The real price will be paid on battlefields not athletic fields and courts of tennis etc.
So why don't we just do away with separate sexes competitions and let people compete. May the best human being win. And if 99.9% of the time the winner happens to be male too damn bad. Train harder.
Americans should be ...
demanding to know whom - top leadership civilian and military - within the Department of Defense knew about the coup (resident in DoJ, and elsewhere, to preempt and later take out Donald Trump) - and did nothing? Inconceivable no one knew. Inconceivable. Whom?
demanding the arrests of Andrew McCabe, James Comey, Hillary Clinton, et al. That these chumps still enjoy freedom laughable.
Educated (and I mean "educated" and schooled) in a parochial grade school I cite a saying the nuns often used to shame misbehavior: Monkey see, monkey do, monkey does what it wants to do.
Translation: Don't be a chimp.
If not a chimp, one is unlikely to (ever) be a chump.
Oh, by the way ...
GAS (in today's title) is an acronym.
From the tone of the musings it should not be difficult to decipher. Another clue ... I'm full, running on empty.
To wrap up on a brighter note, do yourself a favor. If not already in on her hilarious adventures, tune in to Prime (Amazon) for 'The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.' The lady (most of the time) is a champ!
