When the war of the giants is over the wars of the pygmies will begin. Winston Churchill
What a week!
A Missouri state senator tweeted "I hope Trump is assassinated."
She's unapologetic. Defiant still.
Has media called for her head? Her ass?
No. No.
So too unapologetic - Americans (like it or not, they're Americans) attacking Americana.
They vandalize, torch, criminally topple, and quietly remove statues in the middle of the night.
Now there's call to blow up Mount Rushmore.
Mount Rushmore - four American giants; in life and in stone.
Blow up Mount Rushmore?
Insanity.
Such would be assassination - of Washington; Jefferson; Roosevelt; and Lincoln (again).
And a crime, of the highest order, against fine art.
An analyst stated the end game is destruction of our Constitution.
How ironic the core of freedom, in grand design, permits the free the freedom to end their freedom.
Is man an intelligent being?
A thinking being and an intelligent being mutually exclusive.
Sickened by the stupid, illogical attacks on our history and on our giants, last evening I retreated to the calm of my studio.
Looking at a small failed painting I put the canvas on the easel and quickly painted an interpretation of the giants of Rushmore - adding a bit of life to stone.
The red (sky) should be clear enough - representational for attack and anger.
We witness not a culture war but war to preserve our culture.
Giants (proxies thereof) trump.
Presidents Washington, Jefferson, Roosevelt, and Lincoln endure; Rushmore lives.
And (President) Trump prevails.
This war will not end well for pygmies.

Beautiful work. Your portrait is. ( "Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery") Amazingly, too many Americans are not grasping the similarities between our home grown politicians and anarchists and isis and the taliban. The latter groups have made it priority to destroy all art and structures, some dating back thousands of years. We are following their examples. This has to be stopped immediately.
