I'm not real big on repentance ... I like revenge better. Laurell K. Hamilton
Until last evening's news about the terror attack (ISIS staking claim) in Manchester, England, I'd never heard of Ariana Grande.
This morning's news of 22 dead and dozens injured leaves but one question.
What's the number?
What number crosses any red line of decency and common sense sparking - "THAT'S IT!"?
If not 22, is it 220?
2,200?
22,000?
222,000?
2,200,000?
22,000,000?
What's the number?
Years ago Lieutenant Colonel Ralph Peters (U. S. Army, Retired) bluntly said the only solution to stop this nonsense was to kill every last one of them, their families, and their pet goats, too.
This morning an angered retired Marine pal - who's as disgusted, surly, and cynical as me - reiterated the good soldier's sentiment in a public post on Facebook.
The enemy kills innocent people. Children.
With that strategy they, not us, set the "rules."
We, thankfully, have a no-nonsense President (one not so much into [stupid] "rules" of past Presidents).
Ahem, President Trump, they are coming here - to America - again.
That is a certainty.
Do not wait.
Strike!, President Trump!
Strike!
And strike overwhelmingly.
Give them a number (of people and pet goats) to cause pause.
And then strike, overwhelmingly, them again.
And again.
And again.
Unlike Ms. Hamilton, I don't like revenge. I love it!

Sadly, Colonel, that may be the answer.
In the Old Testament, one solution was everything razed to the ground and the earth salted to kill anything from growing again.
The only solution to the continued destruction and murder is for the ideology of peace to be embraced by every person on Earth. But the ideology of peace is under attack by the ideology of hatred. At some point, it will be time for good people to stand up and be counted. We may be sheep for the Good Shepherd, but not for slaughter by these brigands.
When you see the pictures of young children (hamas and others) being taught to use automatic weapons and practice beheadings on stuffed toy animals, you are seeing the third of three generations that are alive today, and are preparing to conquer the world. What were once innocents are now committed killers trained and waiting for the right moment. The only way to end this thinking is to ensure that "families" are no longer spared from retribution due to the acts of the fathers. It worked in Dresden,Berlin,Nagasaki and Hiroshima. It isn't pleasant, but it is necessary if we want to stamp out their ideology and their will to continue.
Even one act of terrorism that harms even innocent victim, regardless of age, is too many. and, regardless of which nation's citizens are targeted, the national stance should be one of the same philosophy of one attack is too many, and will be dealt with extreme prejudice. It would appear that the scorched earth of the Bible is the only solution. We know where most of the terrorist training camps and other facilities are located. Attack and destroy them all. Simultaneously. Wipe them out. Totally. Then sow their territories with salt and pig blood. Keep up the attack until there are no terrorist and their families left. Then do the same to the rulers of any nation which supports terrorism in any form. No mercy. And the same for those who support terrorists. Those who practice terrorism have forfeited the right to mercy. Period. Sorry for the rant, but I'm p***ed.
