HONESTLY, THE DOJ AND FBI?

HONESTLY, THE DOJ AND FBI?

No legacy is so rich as honesty. William Shakespeare

With time comes clarity and truth.

Yesterday Representative Trey Gowdy (R, SC) questioned James Comey, Director, FBI, under oath before Congress as to his agency's investigation of Hillary Clinton for "extreme carelessness" handling government secrets (and more) and recommendation to the DOJ not to pursue charges.

Six descriptors for Mr. Gowdy come to mind...

Dogged
Objective
Just

Forthright
Bold
Incisive

All of which pertain to Mr. Gowdy and none of which pertain to the DOJ nor FBI.

On the DOJ home page is their Mission statement...

"To enforce the law and defend the interests of the United States according to the law; to ensure public safety against threats foreign and domestic; to provide federal leadership in preventing and controlling crime; to seek just punishment for those guilty of unlawful behavior; and to ensure fair and impartial administration of justice for all Americans."

They failed. Note there is nary a word, not even suggestive, of exception for anyone - to include politicians of any ilk. Nor is there mention of exception of anyone by surname.

Department of Justice - is anything but.

On the FBI website under the header "About Us" is the following statement...

"An intel-driven national security and law enforcement agency, providing leadership and making a difference for more than a century. Our priority is to help protect you, your children, your communities, and your businesses from the most dangerous threats facing our nation - from international and domestic terrorists to spies on U. S. soil...from cyber villains to corrupt government officials..."

Further, their Mission statement...

"To protect the American people and uphold the Constitution of the United States."

Of their (8) Priorities, the top four...

1. Protect the United States from terrorist attack
2. Protect the United States against foreign intelligence operations and espionage
3. Protect the United States against cyber-based attacks and high-technology crimes
4. Combat public corruption at all levels

And...

7. Combat major white-collar crime

Federal Bureau of Investigation, which touts on its logo, Fidelity Bravery Integrity - is anything but.

They failed. Note there is nary a word, not even suggestive, of exception for anyone - to include politicians of any ilk. Nor is there mention of exception of anyone by surname.

Concluding his statement a few days ago, Mr. Comey used the term "reasonable prosecutor" to justify his bewildering decision to not recommend charges after spending more than 10 minutes methodically outlining all of Hillary Clinton's evidence-based wrongdoings. And he cited "lack of intent." That conclusion, too, (for ample circumstantial material and logic) bewildering.

A "reasonable man" conclusion...

Barack Obama, James Comey, and Loretta Lynch are not honest people. For it's impossible to be sort of honest. Honesty is an all or nothing element of character. They have not only compromised themselves, their oaths, their countrymen, and their country but the very standards and missions for which their organizations stand - and embarrassed, shamed, and stained them.

Honestly, they are corrupt and party to conspiracy.

And, richly deserved, their poor legacy as dishonest secure.

In closing, three questions:

1) How is this injustice remedied?

2) How do we, the people, get rid of and punish the corrupt and those corrupt who swore to fight corruption?

3) How, in God's name or not, can any "reasonable person" rationalize Hillary Clinton is of presidential character?

The question is not really "How" - the blueprint already exists. The real question may soon be do we have the required conviction, strength, fortitude and willingness? I sincerely pray I am wrong. I tremble when I consider that God is just. We are indeed reaping what we have sown.
