The world is not fair, and often fools, cowards, liars and the selfish hide in high places. Bryant H. McGill
Early this morning the Department of Justice made a stunning move in the Hillary Clinton criminal investigation.
With authority from Attorney General Loretta Lynch, FBI Director Mr. James Comey sent an email to the CEOs of media, et al., confirming Grand Jury indictment and that Hillary Rodham Clinton was arrested and taken into custody shortly after midnight.
Charges include but are not limited to - conspiracy to circumvent Federal law and willful and gross negligence while serving as Secretary of State; dereliction handling classified material; endangering security of the United States by compromising national secrets; and false sworn testimony.
Criminal use of public office as means of profit for the Clinton Foundation was also included.
Several Clinton aides and advisers were also arrested.
Investigations continue and more arrests expected.
Senator Bernie Sanders, Clinton's opponent for the Democrat nomination for president, said about the arrest(s), "Well, this is a surprise - a windfall that didn't cost me a nickel. Is it too late to take back my debate remark about being tired of hearing about her damn emails?"
Bill Clinton could not be reached for comment. The unidentified young woman who answered the phone said the former president was enjoying a Cuban and intern interview. Asked if it was a Cuban and an intern or a Cuban intern the line went dead.
Donald Trump, leading GOP candidate for the nomination for president and on board his plane to Wisconsin, told the press pool...
"Hillary Clinton is a bad woman. She is a very bad woman. She's a very bad person. Believe me! Truly, she belongs in prison. Remember, it was Hillary who said, 'No bank is too big to fail. No executive is too powerful to jail.' She's absolutely right. She broke the law and must be held accountable. Listen to me. She didn't act alone and when I'm president there's going to be many more arrests. And you're going to be very, very surprised by some of those arrested. And happy. You'll be very happy. Believe me! In fact, we just may put some of these very bad people to work helping build that great big beautiful wall. It's long past time we take our country back. Right? We're going to make America great again! Thank you all, thank you very much."
Spotted by an observant reporter at a coffee kiosk outside his office building, Director Comey said, "Look, the tens of thousands of man-hours spent investigating and analyzing facts made indictment and arrest a no-brainer. Somehow we managed to keep this morning's action secret. Our cover story of me questioning Mrs. Clinton later this month worked like a charm. This is the toughest city in the world - especially to keep a secret. It's always nice when a plan comes together."
The Director continued, "This is not about politics but law and order. The law does not exempt any citizen. No one. Look it up yourself - there are no exceptions for anyone named Clinton (nor any other name) written in law. Nor is there exemption for anyone running for public office."
Comey, as afterthought (and with discreet wink the reporter thought), continued, "Keep in mind, my job's secure - I'm a public not private server and am duty bound to uphold law and tell the truth. And, though I will have more to say about Mrs. Clinton in the coming days, it seemed only fitting to first reveal her arrest by sending an email. Seriously, you tell me - how cool is it to use the same tool to inform a pool of drooling fools?! By the way, my email was clearly marked, top and bottom, UNCLASSIFIED."
At 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue the president, not surprisingly, was not available for comment.
A White House spokesperson said he (the president) was studying climate change graphs, charts, and photos and mapping out a "war plan" with his "joint chiefs" before heading out to play 18 for a local mosque fundraiser.
Alas...
Said Molly Ivins, "Satire is traditionally the weapon of the powerless against the powerful."
More so is law (and order) and the vote.
Indeed.
If only the day, any day but today, comes to report as non-fiction.
Until then, we suffer fools, cowards, liars and the selfish - hiding in high places; and low ones, too.
Keep the faith!

Oh, but why, why, why can it not happen in the real world as it should? But what about the lib-i-tards -- oops, sorry, "progressives"? Mo comments?
Ohhh... If only dreams could come true.
Subject: United States Code Title 18. Section 2071
Former United States Attorney General Michael Mukasey tells MSNBC that not only is Hillary Clinton's private email server illegal, it "disqualifies" her from holding any federal office.
Such as, say, President of the United States.
"If you do this or that bad thing, you've essentially disqualified yourself as being the leader of the free world," said Mukasey, referring to the illegal server and the illegal handling of classified materials.
Mukasey specifically points to one federal law, Title 18. Section 2071.
For those of us who do not have United States Code committed to memory, here's what it says [word for word from the Cornell Law Library]:
18 U.S. Code Section 2071 Chapter 101 - Concealment, removal, or mutilation generally
https://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/18/part-I/chapter-101
“(a) Whoever willfully and unlawfully conceals, removes, mutilates, obliterates, or destroys, or attempts to do so, or, with intent to do so takes and carries away any record, proceeding, map, book, paper, document, or other thing, filed or deposited with any clerk or officer of any court of the United States, or in any public office, or with any judicial or public officer of the United States, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than three years, or both.
“(b) Whoever, having the custody of any such record, proceeding, map, book, document, paper, or other thing, willfully and unlawfully conceals, removes, mutilates, obliterates, falsifies, or destroys the same, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than three years, or both; and shall forfeit his office and be disqualified from holding any office under the United States. As used in this subsection, the term “office” does not include the office held by any person as a retired officer of the Armed Forces of the United States.”
Yes, it explicitly states "shall forfeit his office and be disqualified from holding any office under the United States.”
Shouldn't voters know that?
The media won't tell them.
So it's up to us.
Can you help hold Hillary accountable?
Pass this on, please.
