Post Script
"Don't Confuse Effort With Results."
Mister President, from my lieutenant days, as to duty and the expectations of performance from whom you work - an indelible, enduring lesson taught me, and my brethren, by a no-nonsense battalion commander.
The above quote graced a wood stained placard that rested on the bookshelf behind his desk - just above headtop-level when seated. It was a focal point, purposely.
Recommend ordering, not transparent but opaque, one so as to be imprinted on both sides. And place it not atop a bookshelf behind you but atop the front of your Oval Office desk.

With golf, vacationing, constant campaigning, global junkets, crucial times still unaccounted for to the public, and the appearance of disengagement with duties and general indifference, the elemental question your countrymen ask, "What effort?"
Thus, with results - that is, the lack thereof - there is no confusion but clarity.
And, I doubt my old battalion commander is happy with you.
