THE WORLD WAS WOKE BEFORE

THE WORLD WAS WOKE BEFORE

Human nature is evil, and goodness is caused by intentional activity. -Xunzi

Post World War I France was woke.

Not unlike today in the United States and elsewhere words were tailored and mandated to fit agenda.

And that agenda was purposely designed to suffocate truth and reality.

The culture was poisoned.

Sound familiar?

For the manipulation of language to control thinking and behavior, and all sorts of false perceptions and assumptions, ignorance, bravado, miscalculations, and man's unquenchable thirst for greed and power, World War II was inevitable.

World War III is inevitable for the same reasons.

It's not that human beings cannot learn from history.

The fallibilities of man ensures history will be repeated.

And more spectacularly.

Comparatively, as ugly as war is, World War II made I look like a schoolyard fist fight, III will make II seem a spat.

Tools for devastation and killing will make for mind-boggling destruction and casualties.

I'm currently reading Victor Davis Hanson's 2017 tome 'The Second World Wars.'

Into the first few chapters, a chill.

Fact-based hindsight analysis eerie.

Can inevitability be prevented?

Stopping Earth's rotation a more likely possibility.

I've not revelations but have come to understand evil survives and thrives for snubbing order, rules, laws, and civility.

Ignoring, dismissing, underestimating, and humoring evil emboldens it; like aggressive cancer.

And cowardice is bedfellow of evil - their symbiotic partnership compounds destruction.

What ultimately defeated Germany, Italy, and Japan?

For that matter, evil throughout man's existence?

Man.

Not just awakening from woke but courage.

Courage to write. Courage to speak. Courage to fight.

The pen ball point draws ink.

The sword point draws blood.

The pen, the word, and the sword instruments of war.

When to draw which as much art as science and instinct to survive.

Blood makes the story.

Ink records history.

Here we go again.

America is amidst parlous (favored term of a Marine friend) times.

France 1920s, America today.

Freedom of speech is under withering attack.

The public being shaped by words - demanded and prohibited.

Blind justice is nearing last breath (e.g., clownish persecution of a former President; J6er's; Colorado, et al.).

Oath takers - civilian and military - compromised; abetting or cowering.

The Constitution of the United States empowers the citizenry to preserve effective representation. And provides means for doing so.

Only intentional activity will preserve goodness.

Christmas upon us.

Santa cannot fix it.

God's not going to.

So the cold-blooded, pragmatic, objective conclusion - the logic - save not-before-realized human-based extraordinary circumstances ...

World War III inevitable, and so is civil war.

Buckle up!

In these times of intolerance of the Bill of Rights, and those who believe in them, your candid/accurate - depiction of our currrent state of affairs may yet bring forth some unwarranted attention on your commentary from those in power who reject your viewpoint.
