THE MARINE CORPS OUT OF STEP

Courage is one step ahead of fear. - Coleman Young
This morning's 'Early Bird' article under Marine Corps caught my attention ...
'The Marine Corps is now the only service not allowing women to wear ponytails in uniform'
What?
My god, how is this possible?
General Berger, sir, as commandant and the Corps senior Public Affairs Officer, what is the problem?
Why is our Corps out of step?
Why is the Corps not way out front?
You know, leading?
Why has not our illustrious Corps established a unisex, gender-neutral, uniform grooming standard?
Why not ponytails?
Why not man buns?
Both gender-neutral hairstyles; complementary to today's uniforms and fitness standards.
Seriously, Marines, sister services have figured it out. So how can any advocate for diversity, equality, and inclusion logically argue to the contrary?
It's all so embarrassing.
No offense, baldies.
Change step, March!
