IF IT MOVES, POKE IT

None are more hopelessly enslaved than those who falsely believe they are free. - Johann Wolfgang von Goethe
Yesterday came news the North Carolina Zoo is going to poke the animals.
The reporter ended with what came across as exasperated snarky comment.
Well, no kidding.
Questions that came to mind ...
Why?
Do the animals have choice?
Do the animals have (objective) representation?
Lawyers?
Will animals on state and federal game lands be poked?
Why not?
Imagine the size and cost of that massive (government) catch and release program.
Will there be mandate to poke household pets?
Why not?
What animals will enjoy exemption?
Hamsters, turtles, fish, parrots?
And this while America's southern border security rather problematic - with little, if any, concern as to threats carried by the bipedal.
Consider big picture; every single variable (no time to delineate for the clueless).
Inject ...
logic.
Individual and public well-being or control and money?
Beware the zookeepers.
