Failures are expected by losers, ignored by winners. Joe Gibbs
Losers are a curious lot.
Losers couldn't win were winning the only possible outcome.
President Trump continues to be called many a name, some not so wholesome, but loser is not amongst them.
Candidate Trump, for the most part, funded his campaign for President.
Name another candidate for President to do likewise?
He won because he is a winner. And he won despite the astronomical odds against him; the political cadre against him; and media against him. He won!
President Trump donates his salary as President back to America.
That's the generosity and graciousness of a winner (how much money he has irrelevant).
Name another President to do likewise?
Though unable to recall the particulars, I read recently President Trump donated one of his personal helicopters to help someone in need.
Name another President to do likewise?
A day or so ago President Trump (and Melania) generously pledged $1M of their wealth to help Houston.
Name another President (and First Lady) to do likewise?
Does media give President Trump fair coverage of his generosity?
A headline in today's news - Obama budget for 2018 is $1.1M, at taxpayer expense, to fund his post-President activities. Think Congress will bat an eye before approval? Hardly.
Quite a contrast.
And where is the Clinton Foundation?
President Trump and Melania showed up in Texas earlier this week for a firsthand look at the destruction. And it's back to Texas tomorrow. [Vice President Pence, too, in Texas this week.] But that is not good enough for the losers (as reflected in a submitted Anonymous opinion [and published] to previous commentary 'Melania Wasn't Wearing Boots?'). The losers would find fault had President Trump challenged a raging current to save someone from alligators.
Losers.
Life as a loser is a breeze. There's no expectation of accomplishment. Nor is there inherent drive. A perfect match. So losers succeed, grandly, at achieving nothing and criticizing everything and most everyone not a loser. Exhausting it must be.
Winners.
Life as a winner is difficult. It takes effort, commitment, perseverance - it takes a 'will not be denied' attitude and thick skin. Winners refuse to lose. Exhaustion is usually rewarded; sometimes handsomely.
Has anyone noticed the anti-Trump outfits - the ones spreading hate, discontent, and violence across our country - pouring their hearts, money, and labor into the Houston area?
Me neither.
Guess why?!
Winners ignore failures and losers. There simply is not time for either. And these truths our President Trump well knows.
For winners, Houston will recover and prosper.
For winners, and our winning mindset President, America will prevail; but it won't be easy.
How regrettable losers will never know the satisfying taste of winning. For them, it's over before beginning.

Exactly so, but the sad truth is that the losers in our country have been on message (which is to say, stuck on stupid) since the election of 1828. Apparently, something is working for them, otherwise nearly half our voting population wouldn’t be polling for Democrats. Personally, I blame our system of education, which is little more than a brainwashing mechanism.
Bravo! Like a true Marine you have stated the truth with courage honor and respect for America and her true leaders! Thank you.
