Make America Great Again! Donald Trump

Government of, by, and for the people.

Imagine that. We, actually, have a founding document that so outlines. No kidding, look it up.

But we lost our way.

A man with no political experience proper, though successful beyond belief in big business, had seen enough - of government afoul of the people; not by them nor for them.

Too, he saw a once powerful, respected country not only falling apart but a laughing stock on the world stage.

That man entered the ring - focused, determined, and pledging to do something about it.

The people listened.

They followed.

Career politicians dismissed him. He dismissed them all.

So did media. And mocked him. Then attacked him.

In fact, sundry camps, some secretly, partnered to destroy him.

Wounded - sometimes self-inflicted - but did not fall.

He countered.

The people did not waiver.

Today, the people spoke.

President-elect Donald J. Trump.

Make America Great Again!

Task list:

1. Lock her up!
2. Build the wall!
3. Drain the swamp!

And that's for starters.

Elections have consequences.

We'll have a President, again.

It's late.

Time for taps.

More, maybe, to come.

An administrative note ...

Staff recently informed me (my) writings on the election had attracted angry stalkers. That is, readers with counter opinions submitting comment - who did not comply with forum rules of civility (clearly posted near the top on the left hand side of the home page - review if you will).

Policy is the first submission in violation of the rules is brought to my attention - then marked spam with all subsequent submissions fed directly to spam unread. There are no second chances. Thank you for reading (and opining civilly).

Marine...I swear. Sometimes, much like when I served Colonel Jay Sollis, I must pull out my Websters and Thesaurus, and delve into your prose. Not today....very clear cut. Well said. Well done. Now the hard work starts.

What can I say that hasn't already been said 100's of times on your blog and mine. we did it. Thank you Andy for all you did to make this happen. Believe it or not I am humbled. After all these years, I am almost liking the "Silent Majority" again. Col Jim
