DAY 1: SENATE JUDICIARY COMMITTEE HEARING FOR SUPREME COURT NOMINEE JUDGE AMY CONEY BARRETT

The object of power is power. George Orwell

Executive Summary:

The morning session - some two and a half hours or so - as expected; down party lines - though all sworn to support and defend our Constitution.

The hearing, based on plenty of precedent, boils down to ...

Power.

By definition power is the exercise thereof.

Otherwise, (you are) powerless; as the Democrats.

So like juveniles they seethe; opening statements - complemented with super-sized photographs of constituents - do not mask.

The likes of deceased Justice Ginsburg, policymaker of sort, they want to seat.

But a justice, true to our Constitution, President Trump's pledge.

He has duty and votes; the power.

As to packing?

Sand.

Judge Barrett to our Supreme Court.

America winning!

As for the Democratic Committee members,..."Me thinks thou doest protest too much." What a pathetic display of raw, partisan political whining, without mention of the candidate by name. Behavior reminiscent of a juvenile who, when they don't like how the game is going, pick up their ball and jacks and, huffing and puffing, claim "foul." Civics 101 in order for them all.

Yes, Sir, Civics 101. And 102. Then the more advanced courses about our Constitutional Republic.
