The first condition of progress is the removal of censorship. George Bernard Shaw
Cut through yesterday's dribble-drabble babble (especially non-answers to Senator Ted Cruz) and Mark Zuckerberg in essence said he decides what is "bad" for "the community" - in truth, the global aggregate told what they can see, hear, and post, in order to shape (their) thinking and behavior.
Mr. Zuckerberg defines "bad."
My commentary url (acoloneloftruth.blogspot.com), like the popular Trump supporters duo Diamond & Silk, has been deemed not in compliance with Facebook "community standards" therefore "unsafe" and blocked.
How many other civil, conservative voices is Facebook smothering?
Facebook is not a neutral platform for free exchange of ideas and intellectual, stimulating discourse.
Facebook is a weapon - of nuclear-like destruction capability - to publish material to promote the left wing agenda, build a virtual army, and stoke divisiveness.
Mr. Zuckerberg, a school punk albeit brilliant, can say whatever he wants.
But there is no alibi nor credible defense that he, clever enough to invent and develop Facebook, is not bright enough to know exactly what Facebook has been doing, continues to do, and will pursue.
For all the grand possibilities of good Facebook might have been such will never be.
So does the world lose.
To fight back ...
IBM captured it in a single word: THINK.
