MR. COMEY WAS LATE FOR HIS INTERVIEW

First of all, don't be late. Ever. For anything. J. Earp

Mr. Bret Baier, anchor of the Fox News program Special Report, opened last evening by noting his guest, Mr. James Comey, was going to be late - tied up in Washington, D. C. traffic.

Washington, D. C. traffic I well know and understand.

Being late for such a high visibility television appearance?

Ridiculous!

Inexcusable.

Better an hour early than a second late. For anything.

Ask a Marine, especially with a combat arms MOS, about crossing the line of departure a second late.

Once FBI Director?

Good grief.

Mr. Baier, ever the gentleman, was masterful questioning.

So much so I wondered if Rep. Trey Gowdy (R, SC) had drafted the questions. [Not an intended slight to the bright and talented Mr. Baier.]

Mr. Comey was anything but masterful answering.

His explanations and recollections, or the absence of, mere (self) convenience.

President Trump, yesterday morning on Fox & Friends, called Mr. Comey a leaker and a liar.

Compared to what it appears Mr. Comey did, those labels petty and flattering. For a logical perspective is Mr. Comey sat as pivot man in a conspiracy.

How amusing he noted the FBI vetted his tell all book before publication. So what - for whatever the credibility of the field the agency's public reputation (particularly the F for Fidelity and I for Integrity), and largely thanks to Mr. Comey, is at present destroyed.

Conclusion: Though this "trial" in the public arena is entertaining it is more so sickening. It is an insult to the American way of due process. As there is aplenty on which to charge Mr. Comey - innocent until proved guilty (the beauty of American justice) - charge him. Charge him and sort out facts from fiction and truth from tales in a courtroom before a jury of (objective) peers.

What, Attorney General Sessions, are you doing?

How about, Sir, some B - as in Bravery (which Marines think of in terms of courage - moral and physical).

Mr. Baier, there's your next interview.

Sessions has been a gross disappointment. He was a card carrying member of the swamp and now he wants us to believe Rosenstein is a "good man"! Sessions needs to go. Oh...and spot on Colonel on your summary.
