Coffee and love are best when they are hot. German proverb
Hasta Muerte Coffee in Oakland, CA, refuses to serve police officers.
A decision as ridiculous as it is absurd. Offensive, too.
As justification they cite for "the physical and emotional safety of our customers and ourselves."
Considering geography and the obvious logical conclusion from their statement, there's grounds for obvious recourse.
ICE, press (the) coffee house - constant monitoring and random raids.
Legally, mug them!
There's more than one sweet shop that will be happy to bake the "Going Out of Business" cake - loaded with sugar and cream.
Life is a grind.
Good grief. Give us a brew break.
Police officers - they keep us safe; physically and emotionally.
At least the vast majority do.
So, love a cop - thank by buying them a cup of hot joe.
And that's the whole bean (truth), unfiltered, and nothing to decaf about.
