WHOM THE MOST FEARED TERRORISTS?

WHOM THE MOST FEARED TERRORISTS?

There is only one 'retirement plan' for terrorists. James Mattis

The lone wolf terrorists amongst us, sleepers - shoot up a mass gathering, drive a vehicle through a crowd of pedestrians, or strap on a bomb and detonate taking down anything in the effective casualty radius - rattles folks.

That's an aim of terrorism. Too, to unnerve. To change behavior. To cause to live in fear.

But the odds of any one of us being a victim of such an attack is minuscule.

So only momentary is a state of shock and outrage, of being unnerved, of changed behavior, and living in fear.

Perhaps folks become more aware and cautious but life goes on.

Normalcy returns.

But future attacks probable.

In contrast, consider a President whose Justice Department, led by the Attorney General, aggressively plotted to take down a candidate for President and later was, by the people, fairly elected President.

Consider those Justice Department personnel (AG and FBI top leadership and agents inclusive) colluding with that candidate's opponent, media, foreigners, et al.

Consider at worst the (high) source of their orders and at best the complicity (winks, nods, secret handshakes, and drug deals in the head) necessary of such operations.

A nation can survive lone wolf terrorists.

A nation cannot survive terrorists embedded in government - scheming, colluding, and attacking from within.

What does a terrorist look like?

No idea.

But there is no mistaking terrorism.

A terrorist is a terrorist.

Even with a big smile.

The state of our union is not complicated.

America strapped on a bomb.

It ticked - 252,287,999 seconds.

The timer, despite best efforts from within our government, surprisingly stopped a mere second before full detonation.

And now our new President must dismantle the components.

While lone wolf attacks inevitable.

The 'retirement plan' for (all) terrorists - foreign and domestic - must be the same.

For the rest of us, life goes on.
