Crosses and gallows - that deadly historic juxtaposition. Howard Zinn

Today's commentary is follow-on to yesterday's - suggestion to our President it's time to hurt Hillary Clinton. And others.

Shortly after publishing yesterday morning a longtime friend, retired Marine, sent a short note.

Ironically, his note but a quote I had considered including yesterday but at the last minute decided to omit.

So, perhaps, a signal to offer.

As follows ...

"A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself." Marcus Tullius Cicero

Yesterday afternoon and evening there was much news about soldiers testifying as to their service (Afghanistan) during the search for deserter Bowe Bergdahl.

Men died.

So did a service dog die from a gunshot - but not before saving lives.

Too was comment the military judge was still considering defense's motion to dismiss the case for inability for a fair trial - because then Candidate Trump opined on the campaign trail Bergdahl should be shot.

More pre-sentencing soldier testimony to come.

Reported this morning, the FBI has lifted the nondisclosure agreement (gag order) on an informant with firsthand perspective on the uranium deal involving Hillary Clinton and Russia. The informant now cleared to speak with several Congressional committees.

Considering whom that informant will be speaking against, shall we assume whereabouts is safeguarded and with lots of firepower?

Hillary Clinton.

Hands on the fake dossier project (working with Russia) to take out rival Donald Trump; while Secretary of State brokered, for cash (and who knows what else), one-fifth of America's uranium; recklessly, if not deliberately, trafficked the highest of classified documents on multiple non-secure personal communication devices thereby compromising national security; lied, repeatedly, about the murders of four Americans on duty in Benghazi; and those but the first derelictions of duty against country that come to mind.

Surely for her misconduct men and women in battle suffered injury and some died. Probably dogs, too.

Bowe Bergdahl, a young soldier, walked off his post. Before the enemy, he deserted. That is a serious decision with the possibility of severe penalty - death during war; firing squad and gallows.

But, comparatively, his misconduct pales in comparison to that calculated and carried out by Mrs. Clinton. And others.

Mrs. Clinton is Cicero's definition of a traitor.

Though her whispers now before the public ear and eye. And getting louder.

Nothing in U. S. Code nor law exempts politicians.

If anything, politicians should be held to a higher standard.

Favoring the juxtaposition, the gallows for Hillary.

Whether her headstone merits a cross, inconsequential.

She's history.

And, as everyone, sooner or later dead.

I hope the informant lives to testify. Traffic accident?
