A liar will not be believed, even when he speaks the truth. Aesop

First the answer was there was never any meeting with the Russians.

Then there was a meeting.

An email to Donald Trump the younger proved something of a meeting with Russians.

The meeting didn't last long for not delivering promised derogatory material on Hillary Clinton. (Though it is impossible to believe there's anything worse than what's already known.)

Then over coffee this morning there's claim that something derogatory was passed during the meeting.

What to think about all this (Russian stuff)?

Two sentiments (of the hard-working, sick of politicians majority not in Washington, D. C.; New York City; etc.) ...

1. Don't know.

2. Don't care.

Because the "reporting" of all this silliness is being done by the same outfits that cared not an iota about the blatant corruption and substantiated lying by our previous President and his administration, and the woman that President wanted as President.

Package it however you want, where I was raised we had descriptors for them - liars and criminals.

In fact, those outfits shamelessly partnered with that President and his administration, and his chosen successor.

Thus making them not just cheerleaders but propagandists.

We, too, had descriptors for them - liars and abettors.

So, how can this (their obsessed focus on our sitting President) be put in an artful, gentlemanly manner?

"Screw them!"

As a straight talking and straight shooting retired Marine pal said during the campaign and continues to giddily scream and shout ...

"Go Trump!"

Damn right!

Aesop's thought pertains to all in this story.

But the bottom line?

Barack Obama nor Hillary Clinton is in our White House, and none of this Russian stuff had anything to do with those hard-working, sick of politicians voters opting for Donald J. Trump for President.

And that's why I, too, don't know and don't care.

Looking forward to your next tweet, Mister President.

"According to Fox News, Natalia Veselnitskaya was cleared by the Obama State Department to enter the United States using a special “parole” application from September 2015 through the following February to work on a legal case in New York. The “parole” eventually expired, and the attorney was then issued a B1/B2 non-immigrant visa in June of 2016; just before the infamous meeting at Trump Tower."
