MARINE WORD GAME - DECODING AND ANALYSIS

MARINE WORD GAME - DECODING AND ANALYSIS
by Andy Weddington
Friday, 11 December

As long as there are games to play it is not over. Alex Ferguson

Word: liberal

Solve: three-letter synonym.

Hints:
1) One consonant, two vowels;
2) Core Value - Honor - an antonym.

Post Script

Analysis - The discarded, bral?  Not a word. Nor is there anagram (valid word). Ergo, the letters purposely extraneous to, what else, deceive. Games continue. It's not over!

I had to check out one for your Dad. Indeed he was correct that there is a word "clum", although not quite meaning what he thought it did.

That enlightened bastion of useless drivel known as "the urban dictionary" also contains another definition but we do not need to soil our eyes looking at it.

Stay well. 'Dog

Noted, Denno Dog. In the day, I am certain my dad knew there was no such word (for his intended purpose or otherwise) for he'd have found it. But no dictionary on hand contained clum. Nor had I seen since. Thanks for the SA.

Aye. It was not in my handily positioned, Webster's New World Dictionary, either. I had to "google"it.
