TERRORISM FOR (AMERICAN) DUMMIES

Today's comment - one multiple choice question.

Q: What country is the largest state sponsor of terrorism in the world?

A. Afghanistan
B. Egypt
C. Iran
D. Iraq
E. Libya
F. Syria
G. United States

Analysis...

A. Afghanistan - The United States plans, and soon, to pull all combat forces out of country. And assume our historic place in the yet to be written second volume of 'The Great Game' - the original nonfiction thriller penned by Peter Hopkirk.  

B. Egypt - The United States did nothing to squelch the Muslim Brotherhood's rise to power, though short lived. Terrorists, they were forced from power - by the Egyptians.

C. Iran - An enemy, a land with rich history sponsoring terrorism, of the United States. Partner with them in the fight in Iraq? Secretary of State John Kerry so suggested it yesterday. Bizarre. Crazy.

D. Iraq - The United States pulled forces out of country - with no remain behind power to safeguard progress. As predicted, the country is falling apart and to terrorism.

E. Libya - The United States did nothing to prevent the terror attack (against America) on 11 September 2012. Once the attack started, the United States did nothing to help fellow Americans. And after the attack, the United States president et al. initiated a grand lie to explain the attack. That dumb lie continues.

F. Syria - The United States, namely the president, drew toothless "red lines" - the enemy mocked, laughed, and was emboldened. Then the president denied drawing the lines. More mockery and laughter. Terror continues and spreads.

President Obama said the United States cannot go around the world playing whack-a-mole.

Well, there would be no moles to whack if President Obama weren't an enabler of terrorism - if he exercised United States power and quickly and decisively crushed terrorism up front. That is, send a message.

So, whether through some sort of peculiar subliminal sympathy; purposeful allegiance; or idiotic complicity (toward terror) it is the weakness of the United States, specifically President Obama, that is by default sponsoring and strengthening terrorism around the world.

Answering the question, the Obama administration and media (even Fox News) say...

C: Iran.

Wrong answer.

Solving the question requires knowing outcome(s) matter - regardless of how realized.

And the root cause clear.

Per Chomsky, America is, like it or not, participating in terrorism.
