THE WHITE HOUSE COMM PLAN

THE WHITE HOUSE COMM PLAN

"No legacy is so rich as honesty." William Shakespeare

Since the Benghazi attack, and murders, last September I've been closely following the investigation - reading as much as possible; watching televised testimony; listening to true experts (who know what they are talking about); and tolerating the nonsense coming from The White House.

I have been paying close attention to the exploding situation of the IRS targeting conservative patriotic organizations applying for 501.4C tax exempt status. And also tracking the Department of Justice secretly, and illegally, scrutinizing AP reporters phone records and emails (a case growing in scope).

Today's antics are merely a continuation of President Obama's first term woes - Solyndra and Fast & Furious and I forget whatever else made the public arena that questioned his integrity and leadership.

The terms "complicated" and "complexity" have been thrown around describing the current troubles, some call them scandals, plaguing President Obama. And the President has been evasive and disingenuous answering questions - he routinely disavows knowledge and recently said, "There's no there, there." What logical inference can be drawn from such a dumb statement (along the lines of President Clinton's definition of "is") by a president? Honest and trustworthy are not character traits that come to mind. The president has a problem.

The analysis of what is going on and coming out of The White House is not complicated, at all. It's a simple 'Comm Plan' - communications plan - rendered in one simple slide (an impossible task if working for any outfit, especially DoD, inside the Washington, D.C. Beltway).

There you have it - how our White House is operating, communicating with us, with America and the world.

And how it, The White House, has been operating, communicating with us since Barack Obama swore Oath of Office. So much for a Bible with left hand atop, raised right hand, and thirty-five words that are supposed to mean something.

When George W. Bush was first elected President he had a Letterman Top 10 - No. 1: Give the Oval Office a good scrubbing.

Well, it's again time to clean House! But it's going to take a lot more than a good scrubbing to restore cleanliness, dignity, and honor to the presidency.

What a mess. And bigger it's going to get.

Post Script

How did we get here?

A couple of days ago I saw a Cal Berkeley student interviewed, by a TV producer, who was clueless about Benghazi (no idea what it was) and could not name the Vice President of the United States.

Right, President Obama, 'There's no there, there,' - the second 'there' being 'brain.'

Sadly, to your advantage, that's the way it is with a significant cohort of the populace.

Ed Gregory has left a new comment on your post "THE WHITE HOUSE COMM PLAN":

To your post script: our Republic is in its death throes...politicians of every stripe heaping pandering scorn on its constitution, concerned only for perpetuation in office and accumulation of power; and ignorant, self-centered citizens unwilling to sacrifice for the common good. The end did not begin with this administration, and may not culminate with it, but it is coming. Hope you and I are still around to build something better.
